Your new workplace

Åkersviks School is a smaller school with grades 5-9 where everyone knows each other and where we have many adults around our students.

Our work is characterized by a positive and solution-oriented approach where we see the individual based on their interests, opportunities, and conditions. We enjoy collaborating with other actors and associations to give our students the opportunity to experience, test, and thereby develop.

Your contribution as a primary school teacher

As a math teacher at Åkersviks School, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in grades 7-9 together with other math teachers. Depending on your qualifications, you may also teach additional subjects.

Your competence and experience

We are primarily looking for a certified teacher in mathematics with the qualification to teach at the secondary level. If you have qualifications to teach additional subjects, that is a plus. It is also an advantage if you are familiar with digital learning tools and have experience working with them both in groups and as an individual compensatory aid. You have a positive view of students, based on the belief that our students can, dare, and want to.

As a person, you are solution-focused, structured, and action-oriented. You are a good adult role model and have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have great patience and are resilient to stress. You understand and act on the premise that we are each other's work environment. You are also well-grounded in the governing documents of primary school.
